If someone wants to validate your VMware certification status, VMware Education is offering a new way to share your current certificates with "Share your eCertificate". It enables you to share the PDF version of your VMware eCertificate.

You can hand-out a special URL, providing a direct link to your eCertificate and share this Certificate with others, allowing them to independently verify that your Certification is both authentic and valid. 

You can also direct users to the Authentication Form, where they can enter your certification number and authentication code. The "Share your eCertificate" option can be found at VMware's Certification Portal.

Official VMware practice tests are developed cooperatively and directly with VMware and expert VCIs (VMware Certified Instructors), so you'll know content is spot on, current and authorized. 

For this exam should have hands-on experience with installing, configuring and administering a vSphere 5 environment. Candidates for the VCP5-DV certification should have approximately six months experience working with a vSphere implementation.

They are typically infrastructure personnel who are capable of installing and configuring ESXi hosts and can use VMware vCenter Server to monitor, manage, troubleshoot and administer virtual machines. The successful candidate will most likely have additional industry-recognized general IT certifications or the equivalent experience (typically 2-5 years).

By passing the Exam VCP5-Datacenter Virtualization (VCP5-DV) exam and attending a qualifying course, you earn this certification:

This course focuses on the organization administrator’s role in VMware vCloud Director in managing cloud resources. This course provides hands-on training for operators who are charged with administering their corporate resources in a public cloud or a private cloud.

This course assumes that a vCloud Director organization administrator is technically proficient in working at a department or customer level to support cloud operations. The vCloud Director organization administrator is responsible for assisting coworkers in the daily management and use of cloud resources provided to the organization from the vCloud Director cloud provider.

This hands-on training course builds your skills in installing, configuring, and performing common administrator tasks and end user tasks with the VMware Horizon Mirage software. This course is based on the Horizon Mirage 4.0 release.

Before attending this course, you should have the following knowledge:
