How do we do it?.
 

esxRanger uses the some of the standard COM interfaces provided by VMware. While it is possible to achieve a similar functionality with scripting, there are many hidden costs and known bugs to consider. There is no interface to provide the compression, file transfer, safety checks, logging and restore functions provided by esxRanger. Scripting with COM or PERL does not compare to the functionality provided by esxRanger and these are only the basics.

esxRanger gebruikt enkel de standaardinterfaces van Com die door VMware worden verstrekt. Terwijl het mogelijk is om een gelijkwaardige functionaliteit te bereiken met scripting, zijn er vele verborgen kosten en bekende bugs, iets om bij stil te staan.
