Gebruikersdag

Op donderdag 22 september wordt door Bouke Groenescheij een presentatie op de VMUG gebruikersdag over het onderwerp "Online backup tools" gegeven. Aansluitend zal door Eric Sloof een presentatie geven over de mogelijkheden van online backup mogelijkheden van esxRanger.

De gebruikersdag zit verder vol met technische presentaties! Tussen de presentaties door is ruimte om met andere VMware gebruikers ervaringen uit te wisselen.

Inschijven voor de VMUG gebruikersdag kan tot 19 September 2005.

esxRanger from vizioncore is software that can schedule online hot backups of guest OSs on VMware ESX Server. esxRanger can back up virtual machines (VMs) locally or across the WAN by compressing the disks before sending them to the destination server. You can schedule esxRanger to run using the standard Windows scheduler. You don't need agents on the ESX servers or the guest OSs.
