While many organizations have an existing Kubernetes footprint, far fewer are using Kubernetes in production, and even less are operating at scale.

In this paper, Bryan Tan first shows you how to configure a PVRDMA device in a vSphere environment, including the ESXi host setup, VM setup, and guest operating system setup. He then demonstrates the performance benefits of PVRDMA over TCP and shows close performance to RDMA-capable hardware used in pass-through mode, all while supporting vSphere HA, DRS, and vMotion.
